Synthetic grass for training
Seven years after laying a Desso artificial turf at their training centre "Spurs Lodge" Tottenham Hotspur, one of the top teams in the English Premiership competition, again chose Desso Sports. Keeping the match field in playable condition for a large number of matches is the first priority of a groundsman. The weather conditions were not favourable. Luckily Baldwin could rely on competent staff and the Desso GrassMaster system. It gained him the award of ‘Groundsman of the Year’ in the English Premier League. Himself he considers it as follows: "The Desso GrassMaster system has helped us through a difficult period. The team had to finish a lot of matches over a short period and the weather was atrocious."
