In the fall of 2006, White Settlement ISD in Forth Worth, Texas, was in search of a new synthetic field for its Brewer High School Stadium. The requirements? To be able to withstand high usage, be fit for football and soccer and most of all, to be a good long-term investment. The Desso synthetic turf fit the bill. With its resilient fiber, natural ball roll, and skin-friendliness, it is ideal for a multi-purpose field such as the Brewer High School Stadium, home of the Brewer Bears.

Having been through four seasons of year-round sports activities on their Desso field, the district was impressed by the durability of the fiber. “Our district is truly impressed with how well the Desso synthetic turf product has held up through four years of practice and competition.  It proves its own quality with each and every season.”, says Paul Scharr, Athletic Director at White Settlement ISD.

Bret Allen from Paragon Sports, who installed the field in 2007, is also happy: “We inspect the field annually and the turf is showing little to no signs of wear.”
