3 Desso iDNA synthetic turf fields for Major-League Soccer Club FC Dallas

Desso’s partner in the USA, Paragon Sports Constructors, is installing three Desso iDNA synthetic grass soccer fields at FC Dallas Stadium Complex. The complex, which is home to Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas, is a 145-acre facility that includes 17 regulation-sized, tournament-grade soccer fields, as well as the professional team’s 20,000-seat stadium.

350 days a year in use

The first Desso iDNA artificial grass field at FC Dallas was installed last autumn with the final two fields scheduled for installation in fall 2013 and 2014. The complex is used 350 days a year with more than 1.8 million visitors annually, mostly for soccer matches and training sessions at the youth and professional levels. The complex is also home to the more than 4,500 youth who play in the FC Dallas development system. The Desso iDNA system provides optimal resiliency to withstand intense use of training facilities like those at FC Dallas Stadium Complex.

Technical training in Professional Soccer

Not only can Desso iDNA be played 24/7, this type of synthetic turf is perfectly suited for technical training at the highest level, as the English National Team also trains on Desso iDNA at St. George’s Park.

Durable and resilient synthetic turf

Desso iDNA combines durability with flexibility, thus enhancing the playing properties in the long run. Desso iDNA synthetic grass fields are forgiving for intense action, with an improved turn and offset capability and optimal shock absorption. Moreover ball roll and ball bounce stay the same over the entire field, for every player, regardless of the position played.
